Zimbabwean Women - Mother & Daughter Perspectives.

Chipo is an adjunct who has taught a Perspectives class on Africa for 5 years now. She has extensive experience working in her home country of Zimbabwe in both the public and non-profit sectors. She has worked with both donor agencies and nongovernmental organizations in reaching vulnerable African communities. Tsitsi is a Tech student majoring in Biochemistry and is interested in pursuing a dental profession. This presentation will focus on :Zimbabwe women-generational perspectives. Mother and daughter will share perspectives on growing up in Zimbabwe, childhood, education, race and opportunity, the girl child, culture and marriage and how globalization has changed both generations for better or for worse.
